Entomology has fascinated Lamont Fletcher, ECOTEK's founder, as long as he can remember. From the time he could toddle, he spent his time outdoors collecting "specialmens" (as he called them). As he got older, his interest in creepy crawlys grew into an obsession:  he knew he'd found his life's calling.

 

After receiving his degree in IT from the University of Louisianna, he knew he couldn't spend his time in an office staring at a computer all day. Wanting to get his hands dirty once again, He got a job as a pest control tecnician, for a large pest company. After working his way up through the corporate ranks all the way to district manager,Lamont fell weary of chasing quotas and being bullied by the corporate politics that only focuses on profit not people. In an effort to get back to his roots of people first.. This is how Ecotek was born
